How to make…Surul aapam

  Surul aapam 
My grandmother used to make surul aapam, and I would  love to have it when I came back from school. It is so simple to make,  that I learnt the recipe by just watching her make it. 
What you need
For the roll
Maida flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Water, enough to make a dosa-batter consistency - 1/2 cup 
Salt and baking soda - 1/4 tsp
For the filling
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Grated jaggery or sugar - 1/2 cup 
Cardamom pods, ground - 3-5 
Grated nuts, optional – a few 
Cooking instructions 
Prepare  the batter with the given ingredients and mix the ingredients of the  filling in a separate bowl. Make a small thin dosa, as crisp as  possible. 
Fill it with a spoon full of the mixture and roll it. 
Your surul aapam is ready to eat.
